Berlin at night time
I visited Berlin over Christmas and found this vantage point overlooking the Nicolaiviertel, the river Spree and the Alexandertower. The tower was constructed between 1965 and 1969 by the communist East German government and was intended as a symbol of its strength and progress. It is 368 meters high and still the tallest structure in the whole of Germany today.

Haringey Boxing Cup 2013
I was on assignment yesterday to cover the Haringey Boxing Cup 2013 in Alexandra Palace. Co-organised by Gerry Willmott, OBE, it’s Europe’s biggest amateur boxing competition with athletes attending from all over the continent. I have had the pleasure to work with Gerry and the Haringey Boxing Club for over 2 years now, documenting their training sessions (ninovrana.com/haringey-boxing-club) and taking portraits of the junior boxers (ninovrana.com/haringeyboxers). Photographing the Cup was yet another opportunity to document the world of boxing and its protagonists.
